ediTransactionSet. ImportPackage

Imports the raw contents of a file to the binary data in a UN/EDIFACT message.

Syntax:

• <lRetVal> = object.ImportPackage(<sPackageFileName>)

Returns:

Returns 1 if the operation is successful; otherwise if the operation fails zero is returned.

Remarks:

Currently only the UN/EDIFACT standard supports the storage of binary data within the message level.  The binary data stored in this manner is referred to as a Package.

NOTE: The ASC/X12 standard does not support storing binary data in transaction sets, but this feature is not prevented in Framework EDI.
